On Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at approximately 1:33 p.m., officers with the Littleton Police Department (LPD) responded alongside South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) and West Metro Fire Rescue (WMFR) to a multi-vehicle crash involving a building in the 2300 block of West Belleview Avenue.
Preliminary information indicates a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle were involved in the crash, which resulted in both vehicles striking a commercial building and causing a partial wall collapse.
Before firefighters arrived, Littleton Police officers and bystanders were able to safely extricate the sole occupant from the driver's side of the passenger vehicle and move them away from the damaged structure. The individual was transported emergently to a local hospital with injuries. LPD has since confirmed the individual has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
The driver of the semi-truck declined medical treatment at the scene and told investigators he believed the truck’s brakes failed prior to the crash.
Approximately five employees and 25 customers inside the business evacuated safely. No injuries were reported among those inside the building.
The structure has since been turned over to the property owner and remains closed indefinitely.
This is an ongoing investigation by the Littleton Police Department. At this time, no charges have been filed.
LPD would like to thank the community and our partners at SMFR and WMFR, who assisted during this response.
