Junior Police Academy for grades 6 to 8

The Junior Police Academy is a free, week-long summer academy hosted by the Littleton Police Department (LPD) for students entering grades 6-8 in the fall. Registration for the 2026 Academy is full. 

Each session includes:

  • Crime Scene Investigation
  • Arrest Control Techniques
  • Firearm Safety
  • SWAT Tactics
  • Building Search Techniques 
  • K-9 Demonstration
  • DUI Simulation Course
