The Littleton Police Department (LPD) Drug Drop Box provides a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unwanted and expired prescription and non-prescription medications.

The Drug Drop Box is located on the first floor of the Littleton Center, 2255 W. Berry Avenue, inside the front door near the elevator. The box is available year-round during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays.

Medications can be dropped in the box in their original containers or placed in a closed plastic bag 8" x 10" or smaller.

What can be disposed of:

  • Over-the-counter medications
  • Prescription drugs
  • Liquid medications (sealed in original container)
  • Prescription patches
  • Medicated ointments
  • Vitamins
  • Pet medications

Only Schedule II-V controlled substances and non-controlled substances permitted. Schedule I controlled substances that are not lawfully possessed by the ultimate user and other illicit or dangerous substances are not permitted. Healthcare facility waste not permitted.
