The Littleton Police Department (LPD) is partnering with South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) to participate in National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
The number of parties that LPD can attend has been reached for 2026.
This year, the LPD is continuing with the traditional NNO format. Neighborhoods are encouraged to plan and host community block parties or cookouts. Neighborhoods can then register their event with LPD, and officers will attend the separate neighborhood events. Additionally, the City of Littleton offers grants of up to $500 for neighborhood get-togethers. The Littleton Police Department can only attend events that are within the city limits.

Jefferson County NNO
The goal of NNO is to create a sense of community and to promote crime prevention and safety awareness. This is also a great opportunity to meet neighbors, get to know local law enforcement officers, and work together to make the Littleton community a safer place.
