Persons should not rely solely on the sex offender registry as a safeguard against perpetrators of sexual assault in their communities. The crime for which a person is convicted may not accurately reflect the level of risk.

Juvenile sex offender information may be posted if the juvenile has been adjudicated for two or more offenses involving unlawful sexual behavior or a crime of violence as defined in section 18-1.3-406, Colorado Revised Statutes, or was required to register pursuant to section 16-22-103 because he or she was adjudicated for an offense that would have been a felony if committed by an adult and has failed to register as required by section 16-2-108.

A complete list, including persons excluded by state statute from this web listing, is available during normal business hours at the Littleton Police Department Investigations Division. You must appear in person to pick up a copy; police administration cannot mail or fax copies.

Should you believe that any information contained on this web site is not accurate, please contact the police administration at 303-795-3890.

Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Sex Offender Search — The CBI does not post information concerning sex offenders only convicted of misdemeanor sex offenses, nor juveniles adjudicated for sex crimes.

SOTAR — SOTAR (Sex Offender Tracking and Registration) is a public list maintained by the Douglas County Sheriff which allows users to search for sex offenders as well as register to be notified when a offender moves into your neighborhood. Note, the SOTAR list only contains the names of serious sex offenders who qualified by state statute to be placed on the list.
