At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, the Littleton Police Department (LPD) received a report of an attempted kidnapping involving a white van in the 6300 block of Hill Street in Littleton.
LPD officers and investigators immediately canvased the area and collected video footage and additional evidence related to the incident. No corroborating evidence was found to show that an attempted kidnapping did in fact occur.
Additionally, LPD was made aware of a similar incident involving a white van in a neighboring jurisdiction. LPD can confirm that there is no correlation between that incident and this reported incident.
