On Wednesday, February 18, the Littleton Police Department (LPD) received a call for service at around 9:00 a.m. regarding a traffic accident in the parking lot of the South Denver Cardiology Center, located at 1000 West Southpark Drive.
A 73-year-old woman was driving erratically in the parking lot when she struck a female pedestrian in her 60s. LPD and South Metro Fire Rescue (SMFR) responded to the incident.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital, where she remains in critical condition at this time.
The suspect remained on the scene and has been charged with careless driving resulting in serious bodily injury. This incident remains under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
