Arrest of Former Littleton Teacher and Coach
Published on October 06, 2026
The Littleton Police Department (LPD) is assisting the Fort Collins Police Department (FCPS) with an investigation involving a former Littleton teacher and coach, a 53-year-old Adam Williams, who was arrested in Castle Rock on charges related to the online exploitation and luring of a child. There is currently no actual child victim in this case. The probable cause for Williams’ arrest was developed through the use of a fictitious online profile operated by an FCPS detective. The investigation did not involve an actual child communicating with Williams.
On September 4, 2026, FCPS Williams on the following charges:
- Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child – Class 4 Felony
- Internet Luring of a Child – Class 4 Felony
- Three counts of Promotion of Obscenity to a Minor – Class 6 Felony
During this investigation, FCPS detectives have developed information that leads them to believe there may be additional victims. Investigators are asking anyone who believes they may have been victimized or who has information relevant to the investigation to come forward and speak with law enforcement.
The LPD is also providing additional context regarding a prior investigation involving Williams.
In January 2025, Williams was placed on administrative leave from Littleton Public Schools (LPS) following allegations of sexual misconduct involving a minor. The LPD took those allegations seriously and conducted a criminal investigation. Following that investigation, the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office determined there was insufficient evidence to pursue criminal charges at that time.
The LPD is assisting FCPS because Williams previously worked as a teacher and coach from 1998 to 2025 at Options Secondary School and a coach from 2007-2025 at Littleton High School. As part of the ongoing investigation, LPD is seeking information regarding any additional individuals who may have had inappropriate or concerning interactions with Williams.
Anyone who believes they may have relevant information or may have been a victim is encouraged to contact the LPD at (303) 794-1551. Information may help investigators determine whether additional charges are appropriate.
Williams was released on a $75,000 personal recognizance bond.
