This week just under 30 students completed the 2023 Junior Police Academy. Every year the Littleton Police Department (LPD) hosts a free, week-long academy for students entering grades 6-8 in the fall.
The academy was hosted by LPD’s School Resource Officer team and students completed seven separate sessions, including Crime Scene Investigation, Arrest Control Techniques, Firearm Safety, SWAT Tactics, Building Search Techniques, K-9 Demonstration, and a DUI Simulation Course. LPD would like to thank Mission Hills Church for hosting the trainings.
