Victim Services Volunteer Program

The Littleton Police Department Victim Services unit provides crisis intervention, support, and appropriate referrals to victims of crime and traumatic events within the city of Littleton.

Volunteers May respond to cases involving:

  • Domestic violence
  • Sexual assault
  • Homicide
  • Child Abuse
  • Suicide
  • Traffic fatalities
  • Natural death
  • Other incidents when requested

Volunteer Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Live within 30 minutes response time to Littleton Police Headquarters
  • Have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance
  • Submit to a background check
  • Able to commit to two 12-hour on-call shifts a month
  • Commit to at least 1 year of service
  • Attend mandatory meetings
  • Attend 45 hours of initial training
