Junior Police Academy for grades 6 to 8

The Junior Police Academy is a free, week-long summer academy hosted by the Littleton Police Department (LPD) for students entering grades 6-8 in the fall. The 2026 Academy will be held from June 15 through June 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The Academy will be hosted at Mission Hills Church. Mission Hills is located at 620 SouthPark Drive, Littleton, CO 80120.

Each session includes:

  • Crime Scene Investigation
  • Arrest Control Techniques
  • Firearm Safety
  • SWAT Tactics
  • Building Search Techniques 
  • K-9 Demonstration
  • DUI Simulation Course
