Drug Take-Back Day

Keep them safe. Clean them out. Take them back.

Turn in unneeded medication for safe disposal.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Littleton Police Department (LPD) and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will provide the public the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

Bring medicines for disposal to the Littleton Center front parking lot at 2255 W. Berry Avenue in Littleton. LPD can only accept pills or patches; no liquids, needles, or sharps. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

Helping people dispose of potentially harmful prescription drugs is just one way the LPD is working to reduce addiction and stem overdose deaths.
